Knott's Theme Park and Soak City

Knott's Berry Farm Amusement Park has sixed separate themed areas, and each one has something you won't want to miss. In Ghost Town, you have to check out the Ghostrider wooden roller coaster and the Silver Bullet, the longest inverted roller coaster on the west coast. Fiesta Village has a Mexican theme and there are some great rides here, too: Montezuma's Revenge will take you from 0-55 mph in about 7 seconds and one of the world's oldest merry-go-rounds, featuring hand-carved animals dating back to the early 1900's. Their newest feature from 2011 is the Windseeker, a 301 ft. swing ride certain to give you scary thrills. The Boardwalk has the most exciting ride in the park. The Xcelerator is a launched roller coaster where you accelerate from 0-82 mph in 2.3 seconds and drop some 20 stories! Not to be missed!

Great for the kids is Camp Snoopy, built entirely with your little ones in mind. As with all amusement parks, some rides have height restrictions or limits or rides that require a parent to ride with them. And the kids will definitely want to see the show at Camp Snoopy theatre, where they can be part of the fun!

Knott's Berry Farm is very affordable. An adult single ride all-day ticket runs $51.99 and seniors and those who are less than four feet tall gain admission for only $21.99.

Soak City, immediately adjacent to Knott's Berry Farm Amusement Park also has great attractions for very reasonable admission prices. Adults get an all-day pass for $28.99 and kids between 3-11 get in for $17.99. The park features the Pacific Spin, a slide that includes a 132 foot long tunnel that drops you 75 feet ending in a waterfall splash. If you have the need for speed, take Banzai falls featuring six multi-lane speed slides where you go down head first from a 41 foot platform. The park also features Tidal Wave Bay, an immense wave pool perfect for wave riders.

There are great rides for those less thrill-seeking. The Sunset River lets you drift down a river running about 1/3 of a mile on an inner tube (lifejacket required) and Gremmie Lagoon is a great pool and activity area for the little ones.
